**THEY'RE ENGAGED**

What a perfect day it was! Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, and a beautiful couple!
The backstory:
We had made plans for Katelin to take pics of our family for a couple weeks. I had to keep making up excuses (don't have outfits, sunflowers aren't bloomed, etc) because Mark wanted to propose on August 26th...
We spent numerous evenings at the jeweler as Mark designed her beautiful ring himself! He was VERY particular, asked 8475849 questions, but in the end, this one of a kind beauty came out PERFECT!

Fast forward to August 26...
We finally agreed to meet at the sunflower field at 4:30pm and Katelin would take some pics of our family. After a few pics, I said that we had an outfit change so Kevin and I took the kids to the car. The plan was for me to sneak back to the field to catch the proposal on camera. Well.... they were on the other side of the field and even with me sprinting to get there, I saw Mark down on one knee when I was half way there...
This is the pic I got!
haha
I snapped a few more pictures before we headed back to the car.
I mean seriously.... what a stunning ring!
The flowers could not of been more perfect!
Look at the color!
 Pinterest win!
#kinda!
The flowers were a little shorter than the Pinterest pic!
I am SO SO SO excited to have this girl as my sister! She is beautiful inside and out!
We told Katelin and Mark that we promised Brooke we would take her out for pizza if she did good in the pictures, so we casually asked them to go.
Mark had invited Katelin's family and our family to surprise her at the pizza place!

Mom and I made up a cute basket for Katelin and Brooke and I baked some cupcakes!
My mom sent me all the pictures from the restaurant because I was trying to get these two hangries fed!

After eating pizza, we went back to the field to take some family pics!

Uncle Mark and his buddy!
Although we were all so excited about this engagement, this little girl right here was probably the most excited! She shares a bond with Katelin that compares to no-one else. She loves her more than anything and can't wait to spend lots more time with Aunt K!!:)
They constantly try to claim our kiddos... sorry guys, they're ours!
Mark's side...
Katelin's side...
The in-laws!
I think this is the first time I have really talked to John. He is hilarious and we certainly got along great! I guess he is just drawn to princesses, right Katelin;)
Rebecca is as sweet as can be!
Thanks for letting my baby brother in the family!
one last one of her gorgeous ring!
My mom snapped this picture! I have the most beautiful little girl there is!
I felt these two needed their own post, so swing back Friday for some adorable pics that Katelin took of my family at the sunflower field right before the proposal.

Congrats you love birds!
and
Welcome to the family Katelin!

Meet the Teacher - Preschool

We had such a great weekend that started with a movie in our bed on Friday night, an amazing proposal on Saturday, and meeting her teacher's on Sunday.

Saturday night was absolutely beautiful and as soon as Katelin sends me all the pictures, I will post later this week!
CONGRATS AUNT K AND UNCLE MARK!
WE LOVE YOU!

I can't believe my big girl is going to school... I have so many emotions, but she sure is ready!
We were invited to a meet the teacher open house and ice cream social to get her ready for school in 2 weeks!
Here we go!
A few days ago Brooke got all sappy and said she didn't want to go to school because she wouldn't be able to care for her babies all day...
Well.... look at the first thing she found when we walked into her classroom!
Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Gina are her teacher's and I already know it is going to be a great year!
See the class pet in the background?
#hermitcrab
We visited the music room and playground before we headed into the big room for the ice cream!
My sweet girl preaching to mommy and daddy. I can't wait to see her perform concerts in this sanctuary!
Although this momma is a little sad, we are so very excited to see her grow into the beautiful girl she is! We left the school with one happy girl. She can't wait to go back!
WE LOVE YOU BROOKE!
Now go knock out preschool!

Girls Weekend

I had been looking forward to this weekend for 6 months!
But first we had to get checkup year 4 done! She was a complete rock star nailing her hearing and eye test! She weighs 38# and is 42.5in tall!
She is ready for pre-k!
These 4 wanted to take a selfie so I could look at it whenever I missed them!
I set out Friday afternoon with some of my best girlfriends to attend the Women of Joy Conference! Stacey picked us three up and we headed to meet the rest of the girls.
Love doing life with this girl!
#roommates
 at Bakersfield ready to start!
 Enjoying worshiping our Lord!
This girl right here is a blessing and we became fast friends!
 Love these two!
It was already past my bedtime when Natalie Grant started her concert at 10:30pm, but it was absolutely amazing!
---  OMG SERIOUSLY OMG ---
There was a FurCon going on in the hotel beside us and the overflow ended up in our hotel. It was something, let me tell you! These are grown men dressing like animals and carrying around beanie babies!
#gross
Most of us girls back at the hotel around midnight!
Since we are pretty much inseparable, we shared a bed in our room!
#lol
We were texting Stacey and telling her we had room for her too! We finally passed out around 1:30am only to be woken up at 6am so we could be ready for breakfast at 6:45am!
 Hello unicorn...
 Walking to the arena!
 Love this girl too!
Kirk Cameron was a speaker because Candace couldn't make it!
#keepwithWOMENspeakersatawomensconference

We went to an amazing pizza place downtown before heading home! I was SO SO tired we ate dinner and I was out!
Sunday we went to see Beauty and the Beast at our local dinner theatre! Brooke has been talking about this since her birthday!

Granny and Gigi went with us!
She did great the entire show and loved every minute of it. I might of had a completely numb butt by the end, but it was worth it snuggling up to her and see her smile!

 WE LOVE BELLE!

Love these three! It was such a great girls afternoon!

It was a busy, busy weekend and I had so much fun! I talked to Kevin 3 times from Fri - Sat and they were getting ice cream, at the donut haus, and eating popsicles! I think they had a blast too! Thank you babe for all you did! You are very much appreciated!

XOXO,
Christina
