Happy New Year Friends!!
As I look back at 2017, it was just ok - too many sickies. I am so thankful for my friends and family and I am ready to declare 2018 THE BEST!!!!!
Here is a look at 2017...
JANUARY
We took Brooke to Disney on Ice!
and it is hard to see, but bubba got his first tooth!
FEBRUARY
Kevin and I got a few nights out to ourselves this month!
The weather was so amazing, we got to enjoy our swingset... until it got cold again!
MARCH
These two are just the most precious things ever! March was full of fun with them as we were itching to get out and play!
This sweet girl and I baked a lot!
and Walkman started walking!
Such her mother's daughter! She was 100% made to be a mommy!
APRIL
April was a big month! It started with Easter!
We celebrated Walker's first birthday with a Lumberjack Bash!
and we ended the month with lots of car washes!
MAY
We ate our weight in Chick Fil A this month!
Love our lunch dates with Granny and Pawpaw!
and I celebrated Mother's Day with the two best kiddos ever!
JUNE
June was a big, big month! We started with an amazing vacation to Myrtle Beach with Kevin's family!
We spent the last couple days at the lake!
Enjoyed smores with friends.
We celebrated our beautiful girl's 4th birthday
with a princess Belle party at one of our favorite indoor play areas.
Then we Country Fest-ed pretty hard!
JULY
We started July with a bang! I took the kiddos to the lake for the weekend! This year Kevin can come!!! We are already looking forward to it!
and celebrated Independence Day while we were there!
The kiddos and I got home just in time for more late night smore nights!
We celebrated lots of birthday's this month! First up --- Brooke's boyfriend!
We love us some Cruzy!
Then these three handsome guys!
and one more because they are too cute!
AUGUST
August we continued the birthday celebration for Walkman's girl!
Mae Mae
I took a quick trip with some of my besties to the One Conference and we had so much fun!
4 generations going to see Beauty and the Beast at a dinner theatre!
We ate our weight in ice cream!
and had a fun family photo shoot which led too...
an AMAZING proposal!!!

We enjoyed lots of lovin.
and wrapped up the month with one last trip to the lake!
SEPTEMBER
Ahh!!! September!!!! This beautiful girl started dance...
and then I cried the rest of the day while she cried at school!!! AHH
but now I am happy to say she asked to go to school on the weekends!
Where did my baby go?!?
I already know bubba won't shed a tear!
I hosted a fun scarf exchange!
and started prepping for wedding #1!
Then ended the month with a fun Oktoberfest!
OCTOBER
October started our baking and bad eating for the next 3 months! B did so good helping me make cookies!
We took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with some amazing friends!

I helped at B's school with the Halloween party!
and we trick or treated pretty hard.. until it got super cold!

NOVEMBER
Look at them!! THE CUTEST!
We had our second annual Christmas Jammie Shoot with Laci!
and were privileged to help Aunt K pick out her dream dress!
We enjoyed all the Thanksgiving festivities!
and spent the rest of the month shopping and decorating for Christmas!
DECEMBER
I started December with our annual mommy/daughter shopping trip!
We wore all the Christmas colors!
Went to see lights with our favorites!
Watched this sweet girl perform at her school Christmas program!
Enjoyed Christmas with my side!
and Kevin's side!
and most importantly, we are thankful for the birth of our Lord and Savior JESUS!
Well hello 2018! I am not one to declare any new resolutions, but I have jotted down a few goals for this year!
1. Spend more time with the Lord. This past month showed me that the 15 minutes I was spending with Him was just not enough, so I have made a huge improvement. Now if I can get up early in the morning to start my day with devotions, that would be great!
2. PURGE, DECLUTTER, AND ORGANIZE!!!! I have already started with my closet - goodbye 2 huge shoe bags and a few bags of clothes! Next is toys and junk we don't need!
3. Read and blog more
4. Send encouragement cards to friends
5. Kevin and I have already talked about doing more as a family - this means more trips/outings - whether it be to the beach, zoo, or an overnighter to Great Wolf Lodge! I want to create as many memories with my kiddos as possible
6. Eat healthy and work out... because you know, I had to write that!:)
I am so so excited to get 2018 started! Now off to Granny's to eat healthy (pork and sauerkraut)!
