Brooke's Magical Party

We celebrated our big 5 year old with a Unicorn party on Saturday!
Brooke was so so excited and I pretty much declare this her best party... yet!
Although I said they only get 5 (BIG) parties. We will have to see what 6 has in store, but party 5 went out with a bang!

I honestly hardly starting prepping for this party until last Wednesday. I printed the signs and cupcake toppers, but hadn't done anything else.

I am not sure why I did not think of this years ago, but hello... Kelsey Boco bows are the best party favor! The rainbow bows turned out amazing!!!

Brooke requested peanut butter icing, so I made a batch of that for her, and colorful buttercream ones as well!
How could I not display these amazing photos?!?
This balloon arch was so much fun to do and SO easy!
The confetti balloons must of been a thiner latex, so every so often, they would pop sending confetti EVERYWHERE!
It was perfect!
Thank you Kroger for the manger's special flowers I picked up Friday night!

and because I was not into making any food, pizza did the trick!
Now it is all about Brooke!
She missed her school friends so much!
The trampoline was the biggest hit!
Brooke's cousins and Nora!
Obligatory family photo!
Happy Birthday sweet girl!

So many friends came to make Brooke's birthday such a special one!
I hope she stays friends with these girls forever!

Uncle Mark and K

We had an amazing day, and Brooke got a lot of fun things to play with!

XOXO,

Brooke is FIVE!!

Five, a whole hand...
I say it every year with every kid, but I seriously feel like I just birthed this little girl!
Five years ago today, I became a mom to the most beautiful girl there is!
She is beautiful inside and out.
She is the BEST big sister to her brother.
Brooke is very nurturing, she helps me wake him up, she brings me diapers, she feds him if he needs help, and she plays with him so well!
Brooke has grown up so much this past year. It was quite a big year with starting preschool, but I can definitely see how smart, mature, and brave she has become!
I mean, I don't even think she would get in the same area as a horse last year, let alone ride one all by herself!
She couldn't of been more proud of herself!
Currently Brooke is obsessed with The Greatest Showman. She may very well be a performer one day. I should probably start her with voice lessons. She belts out every song to that movie, as well as church songs!
Brooke would still rather play babies than anything, but her love for coloring, drawing, and writing has picked up since she started school!
The Birthday questions..
Her favorite toy and future occupation has not changed!

What is your favorite color? Pink
What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Toast with Nutella
What is your favorite cartoon? Peppa Pig
Who is your best friend? Lucy
What is your favorite snack? Watermelon
What is your favorite restaurant? Jets Pizza
What is your favorite toy? Babies
What is your favorite animal? Horse Unicorn
What do you want to be when you grow up? A Baby Doctor

Brooke-
I love you so much and couldn't of picked a more perfect first born!

Tonight we are going to Chilis for dinner, and heading to the pool for The Greatest Showman movie night with some friends!
I can't wait for your unicorn party tomorrow!

XOXO,
Mommy

Dance Recital

Sunday was Brooke's first EVER dance recital. Now I know she is only 4, but I was a dancer, so I am ready to be a dance mom!
She only took ballet this year, so she already said she wanted to add tap next year!

They danced to "Colors of the Wind" and it was a HOT MESS, but oh, so cute!

We were not allowed to take pics or videos during the recital, so here are a couple backstage and after!

Getting ready to go onstage!

Thank you to everyone who came to support our girl!

XOXO,
Christina
