Yesterday, May 23, was the last day of Kindergarten!!!
It was quite the monsoon outside, but we snuck in a couple picks before it got too bad!
The last day of school consisted of a 30 minute graduation ceremony and then they got to leave with their parents!
Since Kevin and I had to work, Gigi and Pawpaw took them out for breakfast and hung out for the rest of the day!

Then it was graduation time!

Brooke seriously made the best friends this year! She talked about each and everyone of them! So thankful that I get to be friends with their mommas too!
When I asked Brooke if she was ready for summer break she said kinda. She said she was going to be really sad because she is going to miss her teacher the most!
I am so thankful for teachers like this who pour their heart into our kids!
Let's pray she doesn't retire and can go for at least 6 more years!

Aside from all the kindergarten bugs (stomach bug, flu, croup x4, colds, and ending the year with strep), Brooke could not of had a better year! She grew up so much!
She had a field trip last week and I asked her if I could go... her response was this...
"Mom, I am a big girl now so you don't have to come to everything. You can come only if Miss Nicole goes so you can talk to her and I can hang out with my friends!"
I turned into a puddle.
I was one of the class moms, so the holiday parties was something I was always at and she begged me to come!
I guess she really did grow up!
I love that she sings all her Bible songs and is still saying her Bible verses she memorized!
All of her report cards and testing were amazing!
We are so proud of you Brooke!
Now let's enjoy summer and rock 1st grade!:)
This little peanut also had his last day of kids morning out this week!
He is 100% different than Brooke. Although he is such a momma's boy, he sees a room with cars and toys and is like - peace out mom!
This kid LOVED going to school and he can't wait to go to school with Sissy next year!
This little booger woke up at 6:30am and his sister was up at 7:30am... So much for the first day of summer sleep in!!
