!!WALKER WILLIAM IS ONE!!

Oh my goodness gracious... my sweet boy is ONE! Where has the year gone? Sitting here typing this, I can remember your birth as if it just happened yesterday.
Of course I am totally late in posting (only by 2 days), but you had your check up today and here is how you are stacking up...
Weight: 22.6lbs
Height: 30 1/8 inches
Head: 19
You are as happy as they come!

We made the mistake of letting them sit together at dinner one night.... geesh!
They are two peas in a pod!

This month Walker stood by himself and on March 19th, you took your first steps! It was a joyful moment as you walked right towards his sissy!

Remote-check, food-check... all a boy needs!

This sly guy is killing it in the food category! He has been a garbage gut and will eat pretty much anything put on his plate! Lets hope this continues! With only 2 teeth, he eats most of his things blended, but he gets toast, waffles, and other things he can easily gum!

Gigi and Pawpaw were gone for a week in FL this month... Looks like he missed her and I don't think she minded the cuddles!

Walker loves the bath, but he is not one that will sit in there forever... I guess you can blame me for that. I do not mind doing anything else for the kids EXCEPT for giving a bath! I do not know what it is, but I think it is so boring sitting there. I guess I should start a book that will keep me entertained while they play!

The love for your sissy is absolutely adorable, and the love she has for you is like no other. Today while getting your 4 shots, she held your hand and told you everything was going to be ok. It melted me! I pray you will always have this sibling love. 

Hopefully they will continue to love the Sunday pictures too because I adore them!

All I can do is laugh at this picture Mr. Walker! You gave up your paci for your thumb at 2 months, but now seem to not want to put it down. I am not sure which is the lesser of two evils?!?! 

Now that you are walking, you head to the stairs EVERY chance you can because you know you are not allowed. This is the face we get every Sunday morning when we are getting ready for church! You cry until someone gets you! You hardly EVER cry about anything, but this picture proves you do cry when you don't get your way!

Walker, I can't even believe how handsome you are and how much you have grown during your first year of life! You are one of the lights of our lives and you bring nothing but joy into our family. I thank God for such a perfect, healthy, joyful baby! Bring on year 2!

I can't forget that we ended the month with birthday cake and a party! I will post all the details about your party in another post! You know your momma goes crazy over parties, so the decor alone needs its own post!

Here are a few more randoms:

Eating: No more breast feeding for this momma!!! Although it is sad, you love your whole milk (way more than your sissy ever did)! You love pretty much anything put on your plate. We have given you peanut butter and you love that too! 

Sleeping: 8p-6-7am... hopefully when we go down to one nap, you will give momma until 8am!?!

Diapers: size 4

Clothes: 12-18 months and some 24 months for the summer

Milestones/Firsts: You took your first steps on March 19th, and are walking everywhere! It also did not take you long to get up from the floor and start walking as opposed to pulling yourself up first.
A couple more randoms... you love anything that comes with a ball. You shoot hoops with daddy and are so proud of yourself when you make it! Your two other favorite things are books (especially Brooke's recorded ones by your grandparents), and the play kitchen. You love to make noise with everything by banging toys on the hardwood, and you have learned to escape mommy and Gigi's barricades but CLIMBING! AHHH!!!

Bubba, we can't say enough wonderful things about you! I pray year 2 and beyond are just as smooth as year one! We love you to the moon and back!

Walker William - 11 Months

Here we go again... another month older! I seriously think month 10 was a blur and month 12 will be here in no time.

You are becoming quite the charming little flirt! Always smiling, laughing, and talking. We can't even sit through a church service anymore with you because you are SO LOUD!
We can thank sissy for that! She knows a thing or two about being loud!

Speaking of sissy, you are so obsessed with climbing her chair, that granny and pawpaw had to give you your birthday present early!

You love visiting Gigi at her office! Think you are such a big boy sitting there!

Another current obsession of yours is this pink paci! OMG you found it in Brooke's babies diaper bag and have been sucking on it ever since! You love to rip it out of your mouth and put your thumb in the whole as if you are sucking on it too!

Carhartt, because HELLO first birthday pics!

11 months you must of really found your likes... Under the side table is one of your favorite places to climb through. You know exactly what "No" means, but do not care!

This is the face of a little boy who has stood against her bath tub for MONTHS begging to get it, and finally WINS!

Sweet boy you love everything that makes noise, which includes scooting anything hard across the hardwood floor. A maraca and the hardwood, pretty LOUD combo!

Eating: Momma's supply has gone WAY WAY down! You nurse 3 (maybe) times a day. You pretty much eat all table food, but I am still blending it because you only have 2 teeth! You also love water! We will be starting, or mixing with bmilk, whole milk next week!

Spoiler alert---
Since I am a week late in posting, you are taking a good 5 steps! You can also stand all by yourself!

I believe you are really growing right now. Last week you were starting to only take 1 nap a day, but buddy you are LOVING going back to 2 naps! Between eating like a machine, sleeping like a champ, and taking a few steps, you are growing like a weed!

We just took your bday pictures today, and I can not wait to see how they turned out!

Life Lately... (My least favorite month)

I have dubbed February as my LEST favorite month... Good thing it is short! I have been on antibiotics since Feb 1st and have finally finished round 3! 

Thank you strep/flu/tonsillitis/crazy weather!

I did seem to capture a few fun times this month to share. 

But first...

3. HELLO SPRING FORWARD WEEKEND!

Gosh, I am so darn excited! This momma would loose an hour of sleep anytime for some more daylight. Although these sweet kiddos of mine have been up WAY too early this week bc - hello sun at 6:30am!

Seriously, she is the cutest 3 year old I know! It makes me so sad and happy (goodbye threenager) that she is going to be four in 3 short months. 

Although this weather has been terrible, it has no idea what is it doing. 

70 in February calls for some vitamin D!

Bubba enjoyed some swing action too!

and if it is 70 degrees, you better believe we are headed for ICE CREAM!

Babe and I got out for a couples date night. 

We headed to Top Golf! Even though we waited 3 hours for two bays, we had the best time!

The only good day out of February was Valentine's Day. We love to bake at our house, so cookies and cupcakes for the win!

Walker loves to stand next to the tub while Brooke bathes. He has tried to get in numerous times, so finally I let him. They had a ball, although not sure if it will happen again bc Brooke complained of 2 things:

1. The bath water was TOO COLD for her... she gets it from her mama

2. She wanted the water level higher! Sorry girl - bubba can't have it that high!

Shewww... I guess I did take more pictures than I thought! I love these ole boring days of nothing! Spending time with these babies (and their daddy) make for the best memories! We are itching for warm weather and a vacation!
