Brooke is FIVE!!

Five, a whole hand...
I say it every year with every kid, but I seriously feel like I just birthed this little girl!

Five years ago today, I became a mom to the most beautiful girl there is!

She is beautiful inside and out.
She is the BEST big sister to her brother.
Brooke is very nurturing, she helps me wake him up, she brings me diapers, she feds him if he needs help, and she plays with him so well!

Brooke has grown up so much this past year. It was quite a big year with starting preschool, but I can definitely see how smart, mature, and brave she has become!
I mean, I don't even think she would get in the same area as a horse last year, let alone ride one all by herself!
She couldn't of been more proud of herself!

Currently Brooke is obsessed with The Greatest Showman. She may very well be a performer one day. I should probably start her with voice lessons. She belts out every song to that movie, as well as church songs!

Brooke would still rather play babies than anything, but her love for coloring, drawing, and writing has picked up since she started school!

Brooke-
I love you so much and couldn't of picked a more perfect first born!

Tonight we are going to Chilis for dinner, and heading to the pool for The Greatest Showman movie night with some friends!

I can't wait for your unicorn party tomorrow!

Dance Recital

Sunday was Brooke's first EVER dance recital. Now I know she is only 4, but I was a dancer, so I am ready to be a dance mom!

She only took ballet this year, so she already said she wanted to add tap next year!

They danced to "Colors of the Wind" and it was a HOT MESS, but oh, so cute!

We were not allowed to take pics or videos during the recital, so here are a couple backstage and after!

Preschool Graduation 2018

Happy Wednesday!

I can't believe it is already the end of May!

Friday was Brooke's last day of school and seeing these pictures gives me all the feels!

I mean... doesn't she look like she jumped a couple grades?!?!

What a beauty!

Walkman wanted in on the pictures too!

Clearly not his last day of preschool, although he could pass for one!

Their love for each other is undeniable!

What a proud preschool graduate!

We were so blessed with amazing teachers!

After graduation, they celebrated with a carnival for the rest of the day!

Gigi and Pawpaw took her out to dinner (Applebees, her pick) and to our local ice cream shop!

... and because they couldn't leave Walker out!

Brooke,

I can't believe how much you have grown this year! From crying the first two weeks of school, to a confident, brave almost five year old! 

We are so so so so proud of you!

Spring Sing, Muffins with Mom & Mother's Day

Hello May!!

Goodness gracious we have had a busy couple of weeks!

Last Sunday was Brooke's Spring Sing

Friday was Muffins with Mom 

&

Sunday was Mother's Day

This is Brooke's very best friend from the neighborhood... she was devastated he moved away, but got to see him one last time before school was over!

She did so good and sang her heart out!

Gigi and Pawpaw came

Friday we had so much fun at "Muffins with Mom"

So thankful that I can be there!

and because I love a good floral arrangement, I whipped this together Saturday night before Mother's Day! 

I am so so very blessed to have two beautiful, wonderful, loving kiddos!

They are truly my everything!

They wanted a picture with Daddy...

I said it wasn't Father's Day, but they insisted!
