Catching Up

Just doing a little catching up! We have had a full month of April and May and are ready to tackle summer and all the things we have going on!

Walker loves grocery shopping because he gets to drink Brooke's vanilla bean frappe!

Kevin took me out to dinner and ice cream for my birthday! We had a great time just the two of us, as it only took 15 minutes until one of us mentioned the kids!

Because Sunday's are our favorite!

It was a perfect day for a car wash! They had so much fun! Walker kept trying to get in the bucket! I totally should of put them in their swimsuits!

So this little man can escape anything... He is so fast that if you turn your head for one second, he is gone! I put a toy kitchen and gate in front of the stairs and what do you know?, he pushed the kitchen away and wiggled his way through the gate! He turned around and gave me the biggest smile!

It was a rainy afternoon, but someone BEGGED for Chick Fil A for lunch. I of course gave in, but we brought it home for a picnic in the living room. Bubba can put down some nuggets!

by nuggets, I mean any kind of food! He can make quite the mess! I could eat up those cheeks!

It is Sunday again and can you guess what is missing from this picture?!? 

A few days prior, Walker climbed on the hearth and pushed my favorite lantern accessory off and shattered it.... AHHHH

This is incident number two (in just this post) that shows I can not turn my head for a second!

Seriously... how can I even be mad at this handsome boy?

One is putting rocks in their mouth, and one is putting on a show!

and since we are Chick Fil A addicts over here, we quickly accepted the lunch invitation from Granny and PawPaw... It blesses me so much that they love my babies!

Sheesh, I guess I did have some catching up to do... Sunday pic #3!

Brooke was supposed to be working the garage sale with my mom, but she ended up buying this doll house across the street! It was the best $15 dollars spent as it kept her busy the ENTIRE day!

Bae and I got away one more night for a friends wedding! 

I am so thankful for him!

Mother's Day 2017

Well... Mother's Day was nearly a week ago! I am just getting around to blog about it!

#shocker

We spent last Friday night with Kevin's mom, how did I forget to take a picture?!? 

We love you Jean and thank you for raising such a perfect husband!

Sunday began with my two favorite kiddos and their famous "Sunday picture"

I mean these two are the most precious things EVER! 

 Brooke talked all the way to church about taking a picture with her friend Gabbi and her mommy!

 4 generations of ladies. I can't even begin to explain how much these three mean to me. I am so thankful for a praying mom and grandma! I pray that I am at least half of the mother that they are to me!

Being a mom is THE MOST rewarding job there is! Even though I hear "MOM", "MOMMY", a million times a day, I will never get tired of hearing it! I am beyond thankful for Brooke and Walker. They give me a reason to work hard, and I do everything in my power to raise them the best I can! 

Brooke and Walker - I promise to pray for you, and tell/show you how much I love you everyday! Thank you Brooke for making me a mommy, and thank you Walker for growing my heart! I love you both more than you will ever know!

*Easter 2017*

Clearly I am playing catch up! It is May, but I am not too late as Easter was April 16th this year! We started the weekend before with an egg drop at church!

Then we came home that night to an "Egged" house. I mean seriously the cutest. We were left a note that said there were 12 eggs hidden in our yard, but one is empty bc the tomb is empty!!!! So we put Walker to bed and got the flashlight out so B could find the eggs! I love our neighborhood!

We woke up Easter morning praising the Lord that HE IS RISEN!

These people are my absolute world! They make me SO happy!

They have a bond that warms my heart! As long as she loves mommy more than Gigi, I am ok with how close they are!!! lol

Walker's Lumberjack Bash!

 Walker's first birthday party was a hit! Although it was the hottest day of the year so far, we enjoyed an outdoorsy theme! Let's be honest, I go a little overboard on birthday parties! They are only 1,2,3,4,5 etc. once, so I might as well go all out! I loved planning a boys party just as much as planning Brooke's. 

His invitation was super cute!
