2016 Recap

I started blogging in May, but wanted to capture a snapshot of our year! Kevin and I both agreed on our top three!
1. Walker being born
2. Brooke finally getting potty trained
3. Our trip to Disney World

This year was full of the best memories and the worst memories! After Walker was born, we landed in Urgent Care twice and the ER once for Brooke. She has had major issues with potting that had aged me about 10 years! We are beyond thankful that Brooke was healed and she has not had a single issue since!

January
In January we moved Brooke into from her crib to a big girl bed, and spent lots of time preparing for little brother!

February
In February, we took Brooke on a special overnight getaway for one last hooray before Walker!

March
In March we celebrated Easter and got to see a 4D picture of our little man!

April
Shewwww.. April was the biggest month by far!
My dad rang in year 60 with a surprise party!
Our Walker William was born...
then 4 days later I turned 30!

May
In May we celebrated Mother's Day and really started enjoying our family of four!

June
Our sweet, sassy girl turned 3!
Celebrated 6 years with this guy...
and this boy started sucking his thumb!

July
We dedicated Walker to the Lord
Celebrated Independence Day with friends
and celebrated lots of birthdays!

August
We took Walker on his first road trip to the lake!

September
We headed back to the lake
and these two became inseparable.

October
We took a flight to the most magical place on earth!
and hung by the beach a couple of days
We ended the month trick or treating with these two cuties!

November
We enjoyed Thanksgiving with family, and this little one got potty trained!!

December
In December we soaked up as much Christmas as possible all while celebrating the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus Christ!

Well... goodbye 2016! I am ready for 2017!

See ya next year!

XOXO,
Christina

Christmas 2016

Christmas 2016 was so fun! Brooke finally gets it, and we had Walker to share it with too! Christmas started early for me as the kiddos and hubs were so excited that they couldn't wait to give me my present! I have been wanting a MAC for a few months and they surprised me with one!
Friday we spent the morning and afternoon together before heading to my parents to do Christmas with them.
Since it was our year to do Christmas at Kevin's parents, we decided that Christmas Eve was too much to cram in Christmas with my parents, so we decided to do it on Friday.
 They are the best!
Maybe next year Uncle Mark will have a girl?!?
These kiddos are SPOILED!
Of course Granny and PaPaw came over for the fun!
B asked for 3 things... Cabbage Patch Doll, Beauty and the Beast Cart, and a gray kitty.
Dad killed it this year with mom's gift!

This photo makes my heart happy!
 We hosted Christmas Eve.
I ran upstairs to get something and looked down to see everyone I love!

Sunday we woke up super early because we had church and went straight to Kevin's parents.

 Toys toys and more toys...
 Ready for church!
Then we headed to grandma and grandpa's house.

 Then it was complete chaos!
So blessed to have amazing in-laws that love their grandbabies!
We are now 3 for 3!
I can't get enough of these three!
Speak out is hilarious! Kevin could hardly get the first word out!
Before heading home we stopped by great grandpa's house. I had to snap a pic of these two handsome boys!

We had an amazing Christmas and are so grateful that we know the exact reason why we celebrate. Although it is fun to give and receive gifts, we are thankful for the birth of the greatest gift we could ever receive, Jesus Christ. May we never lose focus of Him!
I hope you had a great Christmas too!

XOXO,
Christina
